Hi Raquel,
Wow, you are making a big move but Montreal is such a wonderful city. I'm sure that you will love it. Where exactly are you going to move? Is it "downtown" (plateau, rosemont, mile-end, etc.) or in the suburbs (pointe-claire, verdun, etc.)? If it's downtown I will be more than happy to give you some advice. If it's in the suburbs, well, I don't know much about that area. I don't even know how to drive a car so that could be complicated!
Concerning the sewing class, it's in French but it could be a wonderful opportunity for you to learn French (unless you already speak French). And I will be there to translate :)
When is the big move? I could be part of the welcome committee and give you a tour or something. Let me know.
